EventX is seeking a VP of Sales who is a passionate, results & data-driven leader that will manage and lead all disciplines of the sales process, including prospecting and closing business to hit revenue targets.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader to join us with a game changing SaaS based platform and grow in a fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic environment. In this role, they will play an essential part in taking the business to the next level by driving accelerated revenue growth. The successful candidate will be proactive, entrepreneurial in spirit and have a proven record of leading and developing a sales team to exceed revenue targets.

What are looking for?

Strategic leadership

Identify and introduce Sales OKRs, articulate why particular OKRs are used and how they tie to the overall business goals.
Prospect and own a sustainable business pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue growth to achieve targets.
Build out Sales structure to match business cycles.

Revenue Generation

Plan & develop Quarterly Revenue Budget.(Pipeline & Target)
Plan & develop a process for sales team to achieve targets.( Monthly/Quarterly/Annually)
People and Process
Create a high performing, energized, and driven sales team culture.
Effectively coach, mentor, and evaluate staff, delivering timely feedback, discipline, counseling, and performance reviews for sales team members.

Market Orientation

Maintain a deep understanding of market competitors, knowledge, and trends, including evolving technologies, client needs, expectations, and opportunities.
Develop and build relationships with the key stakeholders.(Product & Marketing Department)
Regularly attend in-person events & conferences, regionally, to meet with customers.

What do we need?

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business / technology discipline, and minimum 10 years of experience in equivalent industry.
A proven track record of result driven sales leadership.
Experience in building and managing high performing sales teams to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Understanding of existing & emerging event market trends.

Well versed in Salesforce and can manage sales reports from the team using this CRM.
Demonstrated strategic sales approach with focus on building relationships with B2B clients.
Proactive, resourceful and responsive to change – thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Demonstrates high levels of energy, judgment and ownership.
Open to travel as per business needs.
