As a Chief of Staff (COS, Level 1 or Level 2), you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various operations within the organization, providing operational and administrative support to the leadership team. In this position you will report directly to the C-suite execs and play a major role in our growth. You will be serving as a problem solver, effectively managing people, processes, and resources within the company.
Your main job will be to ensure the C-Suite Execs are strategic, focused, and effective. We are looking for a highly energetic and multi-talented professional who can wear many hats. You will have important responsibilities and constantly changing portfolio of projects that require sophisticated skills. This is a high-growth opportunity for someone who can own key pieces of work, and then pass them off and take on new priorities. .
Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing new initiatives, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has strong management and communications skills and who would like to be exposed to the executive level within a data-driven fintech company. Requirements:

[Level 1 Role]: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. New grads are eligible to apply for this role.
[Level 2 Role]: Full-time MBA degree from a top-10 program. New grads are eligible to apply for this role.
Startup experience is a huge plus, and must be driven by desire to build and grow a new startup
High Proficiency using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software as needed; high level of comfort with technology in general and interest in seeking and exploring new business management tools
Metrics driven mind — someone who is comfortable manipulating and presenting data
Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
A self-starter who can take the ball and run with it with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with our external partners and vendors to push things forward.
Interact with regulatory agencies regarding approval of company’s emerging products.
Develop and implement operational plans and policies.
Lead our hiring efforts.
Provide operational and administrative support to the leadership team
Monitor the progress of current initiatives and provide reports to the CEO
Assist in creating materials for investor meetings and presentations

Compensation

[Level 1 Role]: $60,000 - $85,000
[Level 2 Role with MBA from a Top-10 college]: $90,000 - $160,000
Exact compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and may vary above or below from the amounts listed above.

Work Location

From our office location in Downtown Chicago. Hybrid or remote work opportunities are not available for this role.
